Bradley Mims, FAA Deputy Administrator, spoke at the Aviation Summit 2021 on March 31st, 2021. The Deputy Administrator used his time to highlight the very urgent need for investment in aviation infrastructure. He stated that there is $3B of unfunded infrastructure requirements through 2030. “The need is very real.” he said.
Ground based aviation infrastructure is some of the oldest equipment and facilities in the FAA. The coalition supports additional attention and funding to address the aging equipment and facilities.
